Bitgesell Music Creation Contest 2025

Bitgesell Music Creation Contest 2025 RULES:

1. Contest Objective
To promote creativity and community engagement through original musical creations in any language or musical style that highlight the core values of Bitgesell (BGL), including its deflationary nature, halving, blockchain and other related BGL concepts.
With the monetization of contest videos, the goal is to burn BGL coins during the annual Bitgesell Burning Day initiative, held on the second weekend of October each year.

2. Participation Period

Start: January 2025

End: December 31, 2025, at 11:59 PM (UTC).


3. Participation Criteria

The music and video must be original and include references to Bitgesell (BGL), deflation, halving, 90% fee burning, blockchain or other concepts related to BGL.

Participants may submit and send as many musical creations as they wish.

The video must be published on YouTube @cubototal7808 with the contest's official hashtag: #BitgesellMusicContest.

The video description must include a brief explanation of how the song is connected to Bitgesell and a link to the official Bitgesell website or social media channels.


4. Prizes

1st Place: 1000 BGL

2nd Place: 400 BGL

3rd Place: 100 BGL


5. Evaluation Criteria

Winners will be determined based on the number of YouTube views + likes accumulated by the submission deadline on December 31, 2025.

A quality vote will be conducted by members of the official Bitgesell Telegram group if needed for tiebreakers or additional evaluation.


6. General Rules

The use of copyrighted content without permission is prohibited.

Participants must be identified as the original creators of the music, lyrics and video.

The use of bots or dishonest practices to boost views and likes will result in disqualification.

By participating, contestants fully grant Bitgesell the rights to promote the submitted songs on social media and other platforms, including monetizing each YouTube video song.

Each song must not exceed 4 minutes in length.


7. Registration

There is no registration fee.

Participants must send the video link to the @bglcoin profile on X (formerly Twitter).


8. Results Announcement

Winners will be announced in the official Bitgesell Telegram group and BGL's social media channels within 15 days after the contest ends.


9. Final Provisions

The contest organizers reserve the right to adjust the rules if necessary.

By participating, contestants accept all the terms of these rules.

The members of the Bitgesell Community managing the Bitgesell Music Contest 2025 #BitgesellMusicContest2025 would like to take this opportunity to clarify some important notices and participation guidelines.

1. We kindly ask all composers and singers for their patience and understanding regarding the publication of their songs. Submissions are being published in the order they are received, after a thorough review of various lyrical and musical parameters by multiple community members.

2. We request that musicians and composers refrain from using obscene language or any content that may be offensive to listeners.

3. Officially, the Bitgesell Music Contest 2025 prize for the first-place winner is 1,000 BGL. However, if the promise made by a distinguished community member is fulfilled, this prize could increase to 3,000 BGL, along with higher rewards for second and third place as well. Since this does not depend on the event’s organization, we hope to confirm the final cryptocurrency prizes soon.

4. The winning song of the event will receive a free remastered version and a custom video will be produced according lyrics of the song.

BITGESELL BURNING DAY Bitgesell Burning Day (BBD) is an initiative created in 2024 by the Bitgesell Community on Telegram. The goal is to promote the sale, use and adoption of Bitgesell cryptocurrency as a store of value and actively increase the scarcity of BGL coins, thereby enhancing their value over time. BBD is scheduled to take place on the second weekend of October each year, lasting two days from 00:00 on Saturday to 23:59:59 on Sunday. This provides ample time for all holders to participate by burning BGL coins or satoshis. Each Bitgesell can be divided into 100 million satoshis and the current minimum transaction fee is 0.00001 BGL, equivalent to 1000 satoshis!
