Bitgesell Halvings List

Bitgesell (BGL), the evolutionary successor to Bitcoin, will complete the 4th halving event on April 26, 2024, after mining a total of 210,000 blocks on its innovative blockchain. Each year, following the mining of 52,500 blocks, the block reward on the Bitgesell blockchain is halved, commonly known as 'halving'. The upcoming annual halving event will reduce the current year's block reward from 25 BGL coins to 12.5 BGL coins, bringing the blockchain closer to becoming the store of value par excellence in the crypto world.

In the list of Bitgesell Mining Seasons (below) until 2054, you can find all information about halvings, mining block reward and the total amount mined per year. On the Bitgesell blockchain, over 34 halvings, a total of 1,785,000 blocks and a maximum supply of 21 million coins will be mined from 2020 to 2054, last mining year.
